Agia
In Agia, about 6 km. from village Apollon, when we return to Hora by the coastal road, which is the quickest road, we pass by the monastery of Agia built at the height of 220m. There is a spring in the courtyard of the monastery and around it enormous plane trees there is running water in the old monastery of Virgin Mary which existed before 1.600BC with the miraculous icon, which according the tradition, was found in the sea.About 150m. above the monastery is the Agia tower (17th century), whch was destroyed recently by a fire. The tower is visible from the road.Every year celebrate it at 15 and 28 of August.
